In the kitchen, Our plan was pretty straight forward. Keep the existing layout, and cabinets. Just reface them and add in new counter tops to match. In addition add in new Sink, microwave, Stove and electrical; recessed lights, outlets, switches and pendant lights.

Our Favorite Things!
On every project there are certain design aspects and choices the customers make that really stand out to us. We like to take this section and highlight a few of those choices.
First of all, The Refaced Cabinets. With remodeling comes budgeting. It’s no surprise that improving your home can come at a cost, that’s why some customers choose certain designs to help cut back costs. One of those choices is simply, Refacing your existing cabinets instead of getting new ones! Refacing isn’t always applicable but for this home, the cabinets were still in good enough shape and fit the modern design that by refacing them, they deaged by 15 years. The white coat compliments the new countertops and their layout was already ergonomic so, why fix what isn’t broken?
Next, The Lighting. This kitchen was originally so dark, as if it was from the DC universe. Not just the electrical but the colors, from floor to the yellow bulb lights it made it feel dated from entry. So, with new stark white cabinets, pearly white counters, a fresh backsplash and of course the under cabinet lighting the whole kitchen is warm bright and inviting. With the added crystal clear pendant lights, matching the overall open theme of the kitchen, lighting shows that not only is it practical but fashionable as well.
