Initial Consultation

Our initial consultation is complimentary. During this visit, we assess your project needs, offer expert guidance, and discuss design preferences, including style and color options. We take time to educate you on best practices, provide a general timeline, and give a verbal cost range in a Good, Better, and Best format to help you plan effectively.

Design Phase

If the estimated time frame and budget align with your expectations, we move into the Design Phase.

The Design Phase starts with a Design Service Fee (a deposit to kick off the process). This is typically between 1-10% of the total job cost (Ex. $2,500 for whole homes/room additions, $600 for bathrooms, and $1,000 for kitchens)

We then begin gathering bids from subcontractors, creating necessary plans and renderings for municipal permits & approvals, and draft a detailed scope of work. For material selection, you can either join us at the showroom or opt for a curated selection tailored to your project. Once all information is finalized, we’ll present a written Fixed-Price Proposal for your review.

Pre-Construction

Project Expectation Meeting

About two weeks prior to starting construction our production manager will schedule the project expectation meeting. Here they will go over the design, scope of work, plans and search for any discrepancies, or potential issues that could arise. They will also verify access to the job, working hours/areas and communicate the construction schedule for moving forward.

Now that everything is taken care of, you sit back and relax as G2 gets to work on your home!
