Complete Kitchen Renovation

Project Cost : $106,000

“Out with the old and in with the new!” From a marketing perspective, that is our entire industry summed up in a single sentence. But it leaves you asking, what is so wrong with “the old”?  Look, I got nothing against “the old”! I still collect vinyl records and use film photography cameras as a hobby. But with our industry, it’s not the age or style we aim to improve, it’s the efficiency. As a professional photographer, there’s no way I’m using a film camera for a paid shoot, it’s inefficient in comparison to the tools I have at my dispense today. The same could be said about this customers kitchen.

When G2 went out for our initial measurements one thing became clear, this kitchen had grown to be inefficient for this modern day family. So with plans drawn, selections made and schedules set, it was time for the G2 charge! As the calvary came in and did what we do best. Remodeling. Follow along below to see what G2 can do for you.

Our Favorite Things!

In this section we like to take a moment and highlight some of the design aspects that really stood out to us with all of our projects.

First of all, there are so many things about this kitchen renovation I could talk about them all. I mean, you see how incredible it is. But if I had to choose my first pick, it’d be the entire aesthetic upgrade this kitchen saw. Kind of a cop out I know, but from the outdated appliances, lack of storage with the 1980 cabinets and old lighting. The old kitchen had the reluctant visit to grandma’s house vibe. Now, the kitchen has a warm and relaxing feel from the moment you step in.

Next, The cabinets. The subdued tones of the pale blue YorkTowne maple dusk cabinets, with the custom crown molding and under cabinet lighting take this kitchen to another level. Allowing much more variety of tools with the added storage, the cabinets took what was a limited kitchen and transformed it into a chef’s arsenal.

Finally, the stone! (I’m saying that to include the tile). The Countertops and tile compliment the neutral tone of the dusk cabinets while highlighting the elegance of the inviting nature of this kitchen.

And I have to give an honorable mention to the coffee bar. Not only for my love, and/or addiction to coffee but for the ingenuity of to create something to fill what was an empty space without going over budget. Plus, it’s just really cool.
