Full Remodel & Master Bath Shower Update

Weekends are the days we all anticipate. If you’re a 9-5’er, weekends are the reliable friend that is always there for you. Whether it be plans to go on an adventure, relax with family, or simply get some much-needed therapeutic chores done around your home. Nothing brings more solace than working around the house improving the home’s well-being. And there is no better way to improve your home than with a fresh start, a reimagined space, a remodel.

That’s exactly how our New Port Richey customer felt but one problem, they’re not professional residential contractors. Lucky for them, G2 is. So, they picked up the phone, called in the calvary and in we rode to make their home the place to be on weekends.

G2 Home Services provides a one-stop shop where you can work with interior design and construction professionals who can help you create a beautiful, practical & functioning home. We start each project with a Design and Budget Consult (our “fit” meeting). This will help you clarify your design ideas, understand the remodeling process and create a Good, Better, Best Budget for your project.

For this project, our customer was looking for a few improvements to be made throughout the home. While we took 3 days to remove, set and replace the kitchen backsplash, the majority of G2’s craftmanship was spent in the guest bathroom and master bathroom shower. The guest bathroom saw a new vanity, floors, tile in the shower and a fresh coat of paint. While not the biggest job, it’s the culmination of the minutiae that adds up to make all the difference. Just see for yourself below!

Now you will notice the lack of before pictures (it was before I worked here). The main reason for that however is because the bathroom was already demoed when our customer called G2. She had a different contractor in the space and they couldn’t see eye to eye so we were called in as the replacements.

Our Favorite Things

In every project there are always design choices and selections made by our customers that really stick out too us! In this section we like to highlight a few of those design aspects…

To start the biggest change, the shower. The Core white subway tile, contrasting grout lines and Iris pattern Ryland tile band give this shower the essential facelift it was looking for!

Next, Those floors! The Victorian Ash LVP, with the hardwood mimic look, is the perfect match to the paint and neutral shower colors.

Finally, the paint. While basic, and kind of a “favorite thing” cop out, the electric blue paint on the walls are a vital upgrade to their jaundiced yellow predecessors. Bringing the room, the bright and energetic aesthetic it was missing, the wall paint characterizes the bathroom remodel into its own idiosyncratic space in the house.
