Projects like these are always exciting to a design and build company. If opportunity and preparation equals luck then it’s no wonder why G2 Home Services is always so lucky. To transform what was a truly dysfunctional bathroom into an oasis of harmony and serenity, then to build out a simple, yet purposeful, outdoor kitchen area are what custom home designers such as ourselves dream of.
When our client reached out to G2, it was with the intent to change their home forever. To reduce the symphony of clutter made by 3 poorly placed doors in the bathroom, and then to create a space for community outdoors within a kitchenette. A multi-phased, multi-purposed plan. Perfection. See the Before and after photos below and realize how G2 can change your home too.

Our Favorite Things
Every Project we do there are certain design choices and aspects that really stick out to us. Here we like to take a moment to highlight those choices. Below are our favorite things about this New Port Richey bathroom remodel and Outdoor Kitchen.
Transforming the old tub/shower into a spacious walk-in shower
Swapping the dated tub for a clean, glass-enclosed walk-in instantly modernized the space and made it feel larger, brighter, and far more functional. The new tile layout, bench, and upgraded fixtures turn it into a feature, not an afterthought.
Warm, custom wood cabinetry that adds real character
The original builder-grade vanity had no depth or presence. The new wood cabinets bring warmth and craftsmanship back into the room, grounding the palette and adding storage that actually works.
Consistent finishes and a cohesive palette from floor to ceiling
The old bathroom felt fragmented with clashing colors and materials. The updated flooring, countertops, and fixtures now flow seamlessly, creating a calm, intentionally designed space instead of a collection of separate parts.
Clean, bright tilework that elevates the entire shower experience
The glossy subway tile and pebble-style shower floor bring texture and movement without overwhelming the space. It’s fresh, inviting, and a major upgrade from the flat beige tile that was there before.
A fully built-in outdoor kitchenette that didn’t exist before
What was once just a wall with plumbing sticking out is now a full, custom outdoor kitchen with bold green cabinetry, a deep sink, and durable stone countertops. It creates a dedicated entertainment hub that feels like a natural extension of the pool area.
