Largo Storm Damage Repair Remodel

Before After

Project Start Date: 04/14/2025

Project End Date: 06/27/2025

At G2 Home Services, it’s not always just about remodeling a home. Sometimes it’s about helping families put the pieces back together. This Home Remodel Largo, FL came to us after the the events of Hurricane Helene had left half of the home damaged when a tree fell onto it. Even today, many families across Pinellas County are still navigating the long road of recovery, and projects like this remind us why we do what we do.

The tree damage left this home in need of major repairs. Rain water had damaged the guest bathroom, two bedrooms, and the flooring throughout the house. The Trusses needed complete replacing for half of the home, as well as updates in the framing. For the homeowners, it wasn’t only just about updating finishes, it was about reclaiming their home and restoring a sense of normalcy. Our G2 Crew was proud to step in and help bring this space back to life.

Before

Remediation had taken place prior to G2. 2 bedrooms and the guest bathroom, as well as most of the flooring was in need of being remodeled. The G2 Crew quickly sprang into action.

During

With framing completed, Drywall was hung and textured and new trusses installed. What was once left in ruins was beginning to take shape. Schluter was installed into the shower and soon enough tiling could take place.

After

While the guest bathroom is the highlight of this project, it was only part of the work. Our crew also renovated two bedrooms and installed new flooring throughout the home, and Fully replaced the damaged section of roofing, transforming a house that had been heavily damaged by the hurricane into a safe, beautiful space the homeowners could once again be proud of.

Our Favorite Things

North Point Catalina Slate Vanity Cabinets
The bold slate finish on the vanity cabinets anchors the entire bathroom. Not only does it provide abundant storage, but the rich tone also adds depth and contrast against the lighter tile and countertops, creating a balanced, modern look.

Silestone Stellar Snow Countertop
Sleek, durable, and timeless, this quartz countertop brings brightness to the vanity space. Its subtle sparkle elevates the design while ensuring the bathroom remains easy to maintain for years to come.

Coordinated Wall & Floor Tile
We installed HF Capraia Polished Pearl wall tile paired with HF Capraia Polished Natural floor tile. While slightly different in finish, the two selections work together seamlessly, complementing one another in color and pattern to create a cohesive, spa-like feel from floor to ceiling.
