Dunedin Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel

Project Cost: $60,000
Project Start Date: 01/05/2026
Project End Date: 03/13/2026
When life gives you lemons, you remodel the whole house in one phase. Okay, maybe that’s not exactly how the saying goes, but it applies here.
This Dunedin home was ready for a serious upgrade. The kitchen felt dated and closed-in, with older appliances, worn finishes, and a layout that no longer matched the homeowners’ lifestyle. The bathroom had the same problem, with outdated lighting, an aging shower, and finishes that had simply run their course. Instead of piecing the remodel together over time, the homeowners decided to tackle the kitchen and bathroom together.
With a budget set between $50,000 and $70,000, G2 Home Services treated that number like it was set in stone. From the start, the goal was to modernize the home, improve daily function, and create spaces that felt brighter, cleaner, and easier to live in. The kitchen now features shaker-style cabinetry, bright countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a glass mosaic backsplash that adds just enough color and texture without overwhelming the space. In the bathroom, the updates helped create a cleaner, more comfortable space with improved lighting, updated finishes, and a shower that finally fits the home’s current needs.
This Dunedin remodel is a great example of what happens when smart planning, realistic budgeting, and one-phase remodeling all come together. Continue below to see the transformation.

Our Favorite Things
For this Dunedin home remodel, several things stand as choices we loved that the homeowner made. Here, we like to highlight these design choices.
First, extending the kitchen storage. As you can see, in the original kitchen, there was dead space from the end of the cabinets to the sliding glass door. Thanks to G2, we were able to design the kitchen to extend the upper and lower cabinets to create more storage and maximize the kitchen’s value!
Next, the backsplash. The soft green cabinetry and bright countertops keep the kitchen feeling clean and open, but the glass mosaic backsplash brings in just enough color, texture, and contrast to make the space feel finished. It gives the kitchen a little coastal character while still keeping the overall design timeless and easy to live with.
Finally, the bathroom feels updated, brighter, and more functional. The bathroom was one of those spaces where the old finishes were doing the whole room no favors. Updating the shower, lighting, vanity, and overall look gave the homeowners a space that feels cleaner, more comfortable, and much more in line with how they use the home today.
